Attention Parents/Guardians...
1. The school day begins at 8:10 a.m. every day. Dismissal time is 3:00 p.m. Mon., Tues., Thurs., Fri. Wednesday is early release day. dismissal time is 1:45 p.m. Students will enter and leave the building through the Northwest door off the playground.
2. Your student may bring a water bottle to school.
3. The Grant School folder (red and white) must be returned each day. It will be used for sending notes and daily homework assignments.
4. A homework assignment will be sent home each evening Monday-Thursday, beginning Monday September 10th. There will be no homework on the weekends. Your student will need crayons, scissors, glue, and pencils at home to complete homework. If these supplies are not available in your home, let me know, I have extras. Please ask your student about his/her homework daily, give assistance when needed, sign the assignment, and return it in the Grant School folder the following day.
5. Mr. Scott Hodges, a Grant alumni, is student teaching in my classroom from Sept. to Nov. As a former student of mine, history has repeated itself! Please welcome Mr. Hodges.
