Welcome to My Classroom

Title 1 has many responsiblilties and helps students and teachers in many ways.  These responsibilities include:

  • Collect and analyze student data in math and reading
  • Manage STAR reading scores
  • Provide quarterly rewards for Accelerated Reader
  • Organize Standardized Testing (WKCE and others)
  • Organize and teach guided reading and writing classes
  • Manage the school guided reading bookroom and order new books
  • Produce a yearly data report showing student growth
  • Coordinate and help with ESL testing
  • Provide resources for classroom teachers
  • Keep track of student demographics
  • Abide by Federal Regulations
  • Attend Title 1 and P5 conferences
