Title 1 has many responsiblilties and helps students and teachers in many ways. These responsibilities include:
- Collect and analyze student data in math and reading
- Manage STAR reading scores
- Provide quarterly rewards for Accelerated Reader
- Organize Standardized Testing (WKCE and others)
- Organize and teach guided reading and writing classes
- Manage the school guided reading bookroom and order new books
- Produce a yearly data report showing student growth
- Coordinate and help with ESL testing
- Provide resources for classroom teachers
- Keep track of student demographics
- Abide by Federal Regulations
- Attend Title 1 and P5 conferences
